About the Multifamily Partner Program

We built this program to help our students achieve success in multifamily investing and redefine their financial future.

The Multifamily Partner Program started when our investors asked us to teach them about multifamily investing.

In 2009, we met with a group of our investors and were surprised that they didn’t want to just talk about how their investments were doing but wanted to learn more about how we were identifying and operating their investments.

The Multifamily Partner Program started as a result of these conversations. Many of our first students were already part of our investor family.

This program is managed by the team at 37th Parallel Properties, a total-return focused private real estate investment company. The firm’s mission is to provide stable investments for investors that want better long-term returns from their investments.

Since 2008, 37th Parallel Properties has produced real results for clients. This program was borne out of the specific request from investors asking to learn how to achieve the same results first hand.

We have always looked to educate our clients on best practices for market selection, due diligence, lending, asset management, etc. In 2011, we formalized this education into the Multifamily Partner Program.

Managing Partner

  • Co-founded 37th Parallel in 2008, raising over $200M for projects valued at $1B+.
  • Previously owned a consulting firm and worked 10+ years in management consulting, including at Arthur Andersen. Holds a Philosophy degree from the University of Kansas.
  • Brings strong expertise in business operations and multifamily real estate to 37th Parallel and its students.

Managing Partner

  • Key leader at 37th Parallel since 2008, managing over $1B in multifamily properties. Shares strategies and tools for building a successful real estate investment business.
  • Formerly Director of Solutions Analysis at a Loyalty Technology company and a management consultant, including at Arthur Andersen. Holds a B.S. in Engineering from Bucknell University.

Principal

  • Joined 37th Parallel in 2012, leading Investor Relations and raising over $200M in investor equity through 6,000+ investor calls, ensuring alignment with each investor.
  • Brings 35+ years of experience, specializing in multifamily fundraising.
  • Previously worked with U.S. city and county governments to secure major grant funding, was an Arabic Linguist for the USAF and DoD, and a commercial real estate agent. Holds real estate and securities licenses and has a B.A. from Hastings College, with theological studies at San Francisco and Columbia Seminaries.

Principal

  • Brings 25 years of experience in property operations, multifamily optimization, and construction management, joining 37th Parallel in 2016. Leads asset management and collaborates with property management to maximize investor returns.
  • Expert in evaluating multifamily deals and optimizing returns with 20+ years in asset and construction management.
  • Previously managed multifamily and commercial portfolios across 30+ markets for major U.S. companies. Holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and has bachelor’s degrees in Biology and History from Virginia Tech.

Director of Client Relations

  • As Director of Client Relations, oversees onboarding, communication, and support for 1,200+ investors, ensuring a valuable educational experience.
  • Has 30 years of experience in communication, relationship management, and coaching. Joined 37th Parallel in 2011, previously working in deal analysis, marketing, and training.
  • Holds a B.A. in English/Communications from LeMoyne College.

Director of Acquisitions and Dispositions

  • As Director of Acquisitions & Dispositions, oversees sourcing, analysis, and structuring for 37th Parallel, with over $1.6B in real estate transactions across various property types.
  • Has 10+ years of experience in multifamily analysis and relationship management, skilled in trend forecasting and loan analysis.
  • Previously worked for a real estate private equity firm managing over $2B in investments, focusing on value-add and joint-venture deals. Started as an Analyst at BB&T’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Washington & Lee University.
